AIJA LATVIAN DANCE TROUPE
We are delighted to welcome the Aija Latvian Dance Troupe to Ayr Jazz Festival.
The troupe were formed ten years ago by Aija , a dance teacher who has worked at Valka Town Hall for the past 30 years.
The group have performed in Valka (Latvia), Valga and Sarema (Estonia), Switzerland and many more venues.
The troupe will perform modern dances and the leader wil sing two Latvian folk songs.
All in all it should be a cultural experience.
Appearing on Saturday afternoon and evening (Station Hotel) and final session on Sunday evening (Savoy Park Hotel).
